Terms of Service

Book Mint is operated by Altazi Labs, Inc.

1. Acceptance

By using Book Mint, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Services

Book Mint is a booking platform connecting customers with service businesses (barbershops, salons, spas, etc.). We facilitate bookings but are not a party to the service contract between customers and businesses.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• One account per person; business accounts require a valid business
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. For Customers

• Bookings are confirmed instantly and are binding
• A booking fee of 3 (or equivalent in your currency) is charged when you book online
• Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions
• Payments via Stripe and Tap Payments are processed securely

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

In accordance with the Saudi E-Commerce Law (Royal Decree No. M/126), you have the right to cancel your booking and receive a full refund of the booking fee under the following conditions:

• Full refund: You may cancel at any time before your scheduled appointment and receive a full refund of the booking fee, provided you have not received the service
• No refund: If your appointment time has passed and you did not cancel beforehand (no-show), the booking fee is not refundable
• Service not received: If you attended your appointment but did not receive the service (e.g., shop closed, barber absent), you may request a full refund of the booking fee within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment time
• Business cancels: If the business cancels your booking, you will automatically receive a full refund of the booking fee
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–14 business days to appear
• The service price (paid at the shop) is subject to the business's own cancellation policy

6. For Businesses

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings (services, prices, hours)
• You must honor confirmed bookings
• Book Mint charges customers a small booking fee when they book online. This fee goes to Book Mint and does not affect your service pricing.
• Book Mint charges a commission on paid bookings (UK/USA) processed through Stripe Connect
• Commission rates are set per business and visible in your dashboard
• You must comply with local laws and regulations for your industry

7. Payments

• Saudi Arabia: A 3 booking fee is charged via Tap Payments when booking. Service price is paid at the shop.
• UK/USA: A £1/$1 booking fee is charged when booking. Service price is paid at the shop, unless the business accepts online payments via Stripe.
• UK/USA (Stripe Connect): Online payments via Stripe Connect. Book Mint deducts commission automatically.
• Stripe's terms apply to payment processing in the UK and USA. Tap Payments terms apply to bookings in Saudi Arabia.

8. Prohibited Use

• Fake bookings or fraudulent activity
• Scraping or automated access
• Impersonating others
• Listing illegal or prohibited services

9. Liability

Book Mint is provided "as is." We are not liable for disputes between customers and businesses, service quality, or losses arising from use of the platform.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access at any time for violations. You may delete your account at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the E-Commerce Law (Royal Decree No. M/126) and the Consumer Protection Law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Saudi Arabia.
