Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Book Mint, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Services

Book Mint is a booking platform connecting customers with service businesses (barbershops, salons, spas, etc.). We facilitate bookings but are not a party to the service contract between customers and businesses.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering
You are responsible for maintaining account security
One account per person; business accounts require a valid business
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. For Customers

Bookings are confirmed instantly and are binding
Cancel at least 2 hours before your appointment
Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions
Payments via Stripe are processed securely; refunds follow the business's policy

5. For Businesses

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings (services, prices, hours)
You must honor confirmed bookings
Book Mint charges a commission on paid bookings (UK/USA) processed through Stripe Connect
Commission rates are set per business and visible in your dashboard
You must comply with local laws and regulations for your industry

6. Payments

UK/USA: Online payments via Stripe Connect. Book Mint deducts commission automatically.
Saudi Arabia: Payment at the shop. Online payments coming soon.
Stripe's terms apply to all payment processing

7. Prohibited Use

Fake bookings or fraudulent activity
Scraping or automated access
Impersonating others
Listing illegal or prohibited services

8. Liability

Book Mint is provided "as is." We are not liable for disputes between customers and businesses, service quality, or losses arising from use of the platform.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access at any time for violations. You may delete your account at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
